Good morning Year 9. Now that you are having to complete remote learning for the first week back this term, please ensure that complete all the work that I am setting.
Lesson 1: We are going to complete our work with gas pressure and volume by using Boyle's law and practicing carrying out calculations. I have voiced over the PowerPoints included below. Please write down the worked example in your books listening to me talking your through the steps. Then do the same with the second example before having a go at a variety of questions yourself.

Lesson 1: Energy transfers: In this lesson we are going to explore the 8 stores of energy, and the 4 pathways in which energy can be transferred. This will provide an overview to allow the consideration of transfers in more complex systems
Lesson 2: The kinetic energy store: In this lesson we will be exploring the kinetic energy store. We'll define what this is, how to calculate it for different objects and how to change the value of the kinetic store.
